Thank you for using Woovly!

We wrote this policy to help you understand Woovly’s Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”). This describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, disclosure, and sharing of your information when you use the Woovly Platform. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy policy is applicable to activities by Woovly India Private Limited. We welcome your questions and comments on this policy.

We collect information in a few different ways:

We collect information directly from individuals, from third-parties and automatically through the Woovly Platform.

1.When you give it to us or give us permission to obtain it

When you create an account and profile on the Woovly Platform, we collect your name, contact information, and other information you provide, such as categories you find interesting. Your name, photo, and any other information that you choose to add to your public profile will be available for viewing to users as well as visitors of the Woovly Platform. Once you activate a profile, other users as well as visitors will be able to see in your profile certain information about your activity on the Woovly Platform, such as the Bucket list you add,, your followers and following, stories you created, the information you list as credentials, and your edits to Your Content. You also have an option to make your Bucket list private, in which case no user as well as visitor of Woovly will be able to see your content of the private Bucket list.

2.Content

We collect and store the information and content that you post to the Woovly Platform, including your bucket list items; likes, comments, posts and stories on your Bucket list as well as likes and comments you made on others Bucket list post and stories. Your Content, date and time stamps, and all associated comments and posts are publicly viewable on the Woovly Platform, along with your name. This also may be indexed by any search engines on the World Wide Web.

3.Communications

When you communicate with us (via email, phone, through the Woovly Platform or otherwise), we may maintain a record of your communication.

4.Linked Networks

You may choose to sign in or sign up to the Woovly Platform through a linked network like Facebook or Google (each a “Linked Network”). If you choose to sign up through a Linked Network, you will be asked to enable sharing of your contacts with Woovly. If you agree to this sharing, in order to facilitate a more connected experience, we may send notices informing your contacts you have joined Woovly so that you and your contacts can find and follow each other on the Woovly Platform. The specific information we may collect varies by Linked Network Provider, but the permissions page for each will describe the relevant information. For more information on how the Linked Network Provider use and share your information; you should consult their respective privacy policies of the linked network for information about their practices.

5.We also get technical information when you use our products

These days, whenever you use a website, mobile application, or other internet service, there’s certain information that almost always gets created and recorded automatically. The same is true when you use our products. Here are some of the types of information we collect:

Log data: When you use Woovly, our servers automatically record information (“log data”), including information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website or your mobile app sends when you’re using it. This log data may include your Internet Protocol address, the address of the web pages you visited that had Woovly features, browser type and settings, the date and time of your request, how you used Woovly, and cookie

Cookie data: Depending on how you’re accessing our products, we may use “cookies” (small text files sent by your computer each time you visit our website, unique to your Woovly account or your browser) or similar technologies to record log data. When we use cookies, we may use “session” cookies (that last until you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (that last until you or your browser delete them). For example, we may use cookies to store your language preferences or other Woovly settings so you don‘t have to set them up every time you visit Woovly. Some of the cookies we use are associated with your Woovly account (including personal information about you, such as the email address you gave us), and other cookies are not. Device information: In addition to log data, we may also collect information about the device you’re using Woovly on, including what type of device it is, what operating system you’re using, device settings, unique device identifiers, and crash data. Whether we collect some or all of this information often depends on what type of device you’re using and its settings. For example, different types of information are available depending on whether you’re using a Mac or a PC, or an iPhone or an Android phone. Our partners and advertisers may share information with us: We may get information about you and your activity off Woovly from our affiliates, advertisers, partners and other third parties we work with. For example:

Online advertisers typically share information with the websites or apps where they run ads to measure and/or improve those ads. We also receive this information, which may include information like whether clicks on ads led to purchases or a list of criteria to use in targeting ads.

How do we use the information we collect?

We use the information we collect to provide our products to you and make them better, and to achieve a seamless, efficient and safe experience, customized to your needs. For example, we may log how often people use two different versions of a product, which can help us understand which version is better.

We also use the information we collect to:

(i) Send you updates (such as when certain activity, like, comments, happens on Woovly), newsletters, marketing materials and other information that may be of interest to you. For example, depending on your email notification settings, we may send you weekly updates that include bucket lists you want to achieve. You can decide to stop getting these updates by updating your account settings (or through other settings we may provide).

(ii) Help your friends and contacts find you on Woovly. For example, if you sign up using a Facebook account, we may help your Facebook friends find your account on Woovly when they first sign up for Woovly. Or, we may allow people to search for your account on Woovly using your email address.

(iii) Respond to your questions or comments.

(iv) To comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations; and To provide you with information and offers on products and services, on updates, on promotions, on related, affiliated or associated service providers and partners, that we believe would be of interest to you.

Transferring your information

Woovly is a worldwide service. By using our products or services, you authorize us to transfer and store your information outside of your home country, including in the India, for the purposes described in this policy. The privacy protections and the rights of authorities to access your personal information in such countries may not be equivalent to those in your home country.

What choices do you have about your information?

Our goal is to give you simple and meaningful choices over your information. If you have a Woovly account, many of the choices you have on Woovly are built directly into the product or your account settings. For example, you can:

Access and change information in your profile page at any time other than your registered email id.

Link or unlink your Woovly account from an account on another service (e.g., Facebook or Google).

Control Privacy Level for the Bucket List Items you add to your profile.

Unsubscribe the emails you receive from Woovly, though even after unsubscription if Woovly finds necessary to communicate with you on account related information, privacy issues, legal issues etc, Woovly will send the emails to you.

You may have choices available to you through the device or software you use to access Woovly. For example:

(i)The browser you use may provide you with the ability to control cookies or other types of local data storage.

(ii)Your mobile device may provide you with choices around how and whether location or other data is shared with us.

Deleting Information and Accounts.

You can delete your account. To request that your account is deleted, send an email to privacy@woovly.com with account details for data deletion.

After you make a deletion request, we permanently and irreversibly delete your personal data from our systems, including backups. Once deleted, your data, including your account, activities and place on leaderboards cannot be reinstated. Following your deletion of your account, it may take up to 90 days to delete your personal information and system logs from our systems. Additionally, we may retain information where deletion requests are made to comply with the law and take other actions permitted by law.

Note that content you have shared with others, such as photos, or that others have copied may also remain visible after you have deleted your account or deleted specific information from your own profile. Your public profile may be displayed in search engine results until the search engine refreshes its cache.

Woovly also provides you the option to remove individual activities you have posted without deleting your account. Once removed,the activities may remain on Woovly's systems until you delete your account.

How and when do we share information?

Anyone can see the public posts and the bucket list you create, and the profile information you give us. The other limited instances where we may share your personal information include:

When we have your consent. This includes sharing information with other services (like Facebook or Google) when you’ve chosen to link to your Woovly account to those services or publish your activity on Woovly to them. For example, you can choose to publish your bucket lists to Facebook or Google.

Online advertisers typically use third party companies to audit the delivery and performance of their ads on websites and apps. We also allow these companies to collect this information on Woovly.

If we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety, rights, or property of the public, any person, or Woovly; or to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues. We may share the information described in this Policy with our wholly-owned subsidiaries and affiliates. We may engage in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, or similar transaction or proceeding that involves the transfer of the information described in this Policy. We may also share aggregated or non-personally identifiable information with our partners, advertisers or others. For example, we may tell an advertiser on Woovly how many people created bucket list items, or the percentage of people who click on a bucket list after viewing it.

Our policy on children’s information

Woovly is not directed to children under 18. If you learn that your minor child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us.

How do we make changes to this policy?

We may change this policy from time to time, and if we do we’ll post any changes on this page. If you continue to use Woovly after those changes are in effect, you agree to the revised policy.
